stamped: Bazaar Bargains and A. R. Clarke, Racine, Wisc. Note: According to Wisconsin city directories A.R. Clark (no ‘e’) had a business throughout the 1880s in various Main Street locations, selling “fancy goods and notions”, “fancy goods and millinery”, and “fancy goods.” In 1890 and 91 it was listed as “Clark’s Bazaar”, operated by Mrs. A. R. Clark, and in 1892 it sold “furnishing goods.”
